The 6th of June 2024 marks the 80th anniversary of D–Day, when Allied forces mounted the largest amphibious invasion the world has ever witnessed.
Join us outside Macclesfield Town Hall on Thursday 6th June at 7:55am for a brief service of commemoration. At 8am the Mayor of Macclesfield will take part in the international reading of the Proclamation, which will be followed by readings from the Chair of the Macclesfield Branch of the RBL and the Town Centre Reverend.
